The Riddler sprays Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin with a substance which will make them permanently stupid within two hours, if they don’t solve riddles to find an antidote.
SuperFriends: Garden of Doom
This week the Wonder Twins respond to two scientists being attacked by a man-eating Tomato plant accidentally created by a radiation ray. The scientist using the ray accidentally shrinks the Twins when shrinking the defeated plant. Wonder Woman must be shrunken too to save the tiny Twins from the hazards of the scientists’ greenhouse plants.
SuperFriends: Incredible Crude Oil Monster
Here’s an extra cartoon for the day. I’ll be absent for a few days while we move into the new house, so enjoy. First up is one of the few shorts to feature my favorite duo of Hawkman and Hawkgirl.
When an experiment to clean up an oil spill goes terribly wrong, it creates an oil monster. Aquaman, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl must stop the creature before he feeds in too much oil and become unstoppable.
Green Lantern Sinestro Corps Special #1

It’s seems that every few months there is a new, big thing in the comic book industry (at least Marvel and DC). After one event ends, another had better start soon or readers will disappear. Marvel quickly followed their Civil War with World War Hulk (and a similar slew of ancillary titles). DC’s Infinite Crisiswas followed by 52, which is being followed by Countdown.
And, just when I thought I was out, they sucked me back in…
With one image, the just released Green Lantern Sinestro Corps Special #1 revealed that it had more to do with Infinite Crisis (and other events) than I think anyone imagined. That one image above encompasses 20+ years of stories I’ve read (both recent and long ago). I think there is something to be said for forging ahead and changing everything the way Marvel is doing with their Civil War related fall-out. But, nostalgia feels good and DC is firing on all cylinders right now and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
Drag and Drop to Update Your Google Map Route

We’ve all used Google Maps to get directions. Most of us have probably even said to ourself “why is it going that way?”
Now you can change all that. For any Google Map Route, you can drag and drop to add route markers. This will let you adjust or completely change that route that Google planned. Each new custom point is added as a yellow pause “||” symbol so it’s easy to tell what changes you’ve made.
The most interesting thing to me is the ability to compare routes. I can map 2 or the paths to the same location (from the same starting point) and see which is the shortest. Could help you find your way around that traffic jam you always run into on the way home.
