This time lapse video of the Space Shuttle prep and launch is amazing. I’ve seen some of the hangars and equipment in Houston and I can’t even imagine how large the hangar is in the portion of the video when the shuttle is lifted into a vertical position and moved. There are only a two scheduled shuttle launches left, plan your trip of you want to see one.
Here’s something I saw on another site (don’t remember where). Take a photo of your face facing forward, split it down the middle, separate the left and rights sides into new images and the complete those images by flipping them.
You’ll wind up with three images: image one – your original face photo, image two – your face as it would look if your left side was mirrored to your right, image three – your face as it would look if your right side was mirrored to your left.
Interesting results and it makes you see the differences in the sides of your face. My “left face” definitely looks a little more plump than my right face.
This is easily one of the best photos of the year. Absolutely a great idea and a well executed photo. Be sure to head on over to the Flickr page to see the full size photo and leave a comment on Flickr if you like it.
