Alright, I’ve got to break down and get some of these. The Star Wars character cookie cutters are cool, but the newly released Star Wars vehicle cookie cutters from Williams Sonoma may be the best. To make it even better, they give you a PDF template detailing how to decorate them. We make cookies every year for Christmas and these have to be added to the rotation next year—along with our Leg Lamp cookie cutter (from A Christmas Story).
Appropriately enough for May 4th, TomTom has announced that Star Wars voices for their GPS products will be available (only in Europe, right now). Yes, it’s as cool as it sounds. Just watch the video for Darth Vader recording his voice. It ends as you’d expect, but it’s still hilarious.
Wow! Just wow! That’s a toy that’s worth $99. Lots of accessories, huge and lots of play area. I expect this will be hard to find in November/December 2010.
I really want to see how this works. It looks pretty cool on the video. How was it projected? Did the anchors on the set see the same thing home viewers saw? Details, that’s what I want.
I think it would look even better if the hologram were blue and blurry.
